Why I sniffed sweaters? Ravichandran Ashwin opens up as his hilarious video and tweet spark a laugh riot!

It is indeed a good field day for Tweeple and for the cricket fans as they are busy sharing a video clip of Indian cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin, who was seen sniffing out to find his sweater in the middle of the field ahead of the start of India - Zimbabwe T20 match in the ongoing World Cup in Australia. Thanks to the trend as the video has become the talk of the cricket world with several cricketers leaving hilarious comments. 

The video has been going viral ever since it got surfaced on social media and it has sparked a riot of laughter across and beyond the borders. In the video, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma was talking to the commentator ahead of the toss while his Zimbabwean counterpart was seen standing next to him.  What was happening behind Rohit Sharma has now become a talking point as it has triggered a burst of laughter. 

While Rohit Sharma was speaking before the camera, Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was seen standing behind him, and he has no knowledge that he was being caught on camera. In the viral video, Ashwin was seen taking two sweaters from the ground and he appeared to be perplexed about finding his sweater. As the two appear similar, Ashwin then compares the size and still he didn't find the right one. 

What he did afterward made a trend. He took two sweaters and sniffed them. After smelling them, he takes his sweater and put the other one back on the ground, and walks away with no clue that his action would become the talk of the town later. He casually walks back with the gratification that he finally found his sweater. However, he didn't know that the fans found a new method of identifying their clothes through him. 

When the video began doing rounds on social media, a sea of fans and a flock of cricket players began tagging Ashwin on Twitter with the video and asked him what he was doing. A Twitter user wrote, "Ashwin Anna Supremacy. This is the right way to find your clothes." Sharing the video, Indian cricketer Abhinav Mukund wrote, "Watched this video multiple times already. Just cracks me up again and again. Ravichandran Ashwin pls enlighten us with your logic of picking the right sweater." 

Sharing the same video, veteran cricketer Harbhajan Singh asked, "Ash (Ashwin) what are u smelling." The video took Ashwin by surprise and he joined the laughter riot as he opened up about how he found the right sweater and his tweet has been going viral. Replying to Mukund, Ashwin said that he first checked for the sizes to differentiate and checked for initials. As these two didn't help, Ashwin added that he finally checked for the perfume by smelling the sweaters, and based on the perfume, he found the right one.
