When JAI BHIM Wins Beyond The Borders..Check How The Movie Received In Beijing Film Festival 2022

Suriya starred in T. J. Gnanavel's breathtaking courtroom drama Jai Bhim, which came out a year ago, but keeping the praising level on top-notch since its release. With the raving reviews received from the Beijing Film Festival 2022, which was screened in China, the movie has once again proven its excellent screenplay and compelling narration and is continuing to garner praise and climbing the victory ladder. Prior to that, "Jai Bhim" makers announced earlier that the film had been chosen for the Tiantan Awards at the 12th Beijing International Film Festival. Now the film screening's audience reviews are currently circulating on social media, majorly it's all positive word of mouth.. It is pertinent to note that the Melbourne Indian Film Festival recently selected "Jai Bhim" for screening.

At the end of the screening at the Beijing International Film Festival, the audience's emotional and tearful response was captured on video. Ramesh Bala, a well-known Entertainment Industry Tracker, took us via Twitter and wrote that the Beijing International Film Festivalscreening of actor Surya's film JaiBhim had received an "excellent response."  One of the actor's admirers said, "Back then, Rajinikanth took tamil cinema to Japan with Muthu, which created a separate fanbase for him there Today, Suriya had done that with JaiBhim in China and created a separate fanbase for him there Rajinikanth and Suriya - Pride of Kollywood"

T. J. Gnanavel is the director of the historical legal drama film Jai Bhim, which Jyothika and Suriya banking the film under the 2D Entertainment banner. The movie discusses state violence against an Irular tribe and police bias. It is based on a real-life incident from 1993 that involved a case that Justice K. Chandru fought, and it centres on the lives of Sengeni and Rajakannu, who were violently taken into custody by the police. The movie received overwhelmingly positive reviews from critics, who praised the plot, performances, direction, and social message. Several media outlets hailed the movie as "one of the best Tamil and Indian films of 2021." The movie didn't make the 94th Academy Awards shortlist, but it won the Noida International Film Festival for best actor and actress for Suriya and Lijomol Jose. . In addition to the controversy the actor and the filmmaker who claimed that the film insulted their community, the Madras High Court dismissed the complaint and ruled that there was no harm in the movie. Regrettably, this historical courtroom drama was well received at the Beijing Film Festival in 2022.

According to the official website of the Beijing International Film Festival (BIFF) page, Tiantan Award is the official competition section of BJIFF, and each year comprises a maximum of 17 full-length feature films. During the festival, a seven-member jury committee will watch the shortlisted films and select the films and filmmakers to be awarded in ten categories. Tiantan Award includes 10 award categories: Best Feature Film, Best Director, Best Artistic Contribution, Best Leading Actor, Best Leading Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography and Best Music. The 12th Beijing International Film Festival will be held in Beijing, China from August 13th to 20th, 2022.The winners will be announced at the Closing & Awards Ceremony of the 12th BJIFF.
