Vijay Sethupathi is in the rain of praises from Megastar Chiranjeevi and the Tollywood star has revealed what's Vijay Sethupathi for him. Chiranjeevi had attended the pre-release event of the upcoming Telugu romantic movie 'Uppena'. The movie stars Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Shetty in the lead roles while Vijay Sethupathi will be playing as the antagonist. 

Chiranjeevi attended the event and during his address, the Megastar had appreciated the entire team of Uppena and lauded Vijay Sethupathi. Chiranjeevi called Vijay Sethupathi as a great human being and a versatile actor of the Indian Film Industry.  The Megastar further revealed that he had fallen in love with Vijay Sethupathi's character in Vijay starred 'Master'. 

Megastar's compliment has been widely shared by the fans of Vijay Sethupathi. The trailer of 'Uppena' was recently launched by Jr NTR and it has got massive reception across and beyond the borders. According to reports, Uppena revolves around a romantic relationship between people from two different social groups. The movie was majorly shot in Kakinada and its adjacent areas. 

Produced by Naveen, Ravi Shankar, and Mohan under the banners Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar writings respectively, Uppena is directed by debutant Buchi Babu Sana, who is the scriptwriter of the blockbuster movie Rangasthalam. 

Vaishnav Tej is making his acting debut through this film and he is the younger brother of Sai Dharam Tej and nephew of Chiranjeevi. Krithi Shetty will be playing the female lead and she is also making her debut through this movie while Vijay Sethupathi will be playing her father in the character of Rayanam.

It must be noted that Uppena presents Vijay Sethupathi's second role as an antagonist after Master and Uppena's trailer had promised a perfect antagonist. Devi Sri Prasad has composed the movie and the movie will be hitting big screens on February 12, 2021. Apart from Uppena, Vijay Sethupathi currently awaits the release of the Tamil anthology 'Kutti Love Story' which will also be getting released on February 12, 2021, two days ahead of Valentine's Day. 

Kutti Love Story is produced by Ishari Ganesh under the banner of Vels Film International and directed by four popular directors Gautam Menon, AL Vijay, Venkat Prabhu, and Nalan Kumarasamy. The anthology has roped in Vijay Sethupathi, Amala Paul, Aditi Balan, and Megha Akash in the lead role. Besides the anthology, Vijay Sethupathi has recently got teamed up with Vetrimaaran for the first time for the upcoming project that has Actor Soori in the lead role.
