Watch: When Music Maestro turns master for Dhanush! Ilayaraja shares the recording session of the Viduthalai First Single

It turned out to be the first single of Viduthalai is 'Onnoda Nadantha'. And the extra perk is that its in the voice of actor Dhanush in the combo of Ilayaraja's music. The legendary composer shared a short video where Dhanush and himself gearing up for the song recording which is getting viral on social media. The upcoming Vetrimaran's directorial is said to be released by the end of March this year.

Taking to Twitter on Monday Ilayaraja and shared a video of the recording session and wrote, "The first single #Onnodanadandhaa  from #Viduthalai part 1 releasing on Feb8th @ilaiyaraaja @dhanushkraja & #AnanyaBhat #Suga Promo from the recording session". In the brief video, they both seen preparing for the sensational jam session where the veteran musician teach some tempo for the young actor cheeringly. In light of this, the debut single "Onnoda Nadantha" will be released on February 8th. Vetrimaran and Ilayaraja's collaboration is a first, and it has heightened anticipation for the film.

It's worth noting that the film's director of photography, Rajeev Menon, also plays a major role. In the film, Suri will play a police officer, and Vijay Sethupathi will play a soldier. Elred Kumar produces the film through his company RS Infotainment. Post-production work is being done on both parts of the film Viduthalai. Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada versions of the film are also in the works.

Peter Hein has choreographed the action scenes, and Velraj is in charge of the movie's editing. In supporting roles, the movie also features Bhavani Sre, Prakash Raj, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Chethan. The short story Thunaivan, written by Jeyamohan, served as the basis for Viduthalai.
