The much-awaited trailer of Vijay Sethupathi’s upcoming Tamil movie Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir has been released on Monday. The movie, directed by debutant Venkata Krishna Roghanth, features Megha Akash as the female lead and Magizh Thirumeni and Vivek in pivotal roles.
The trailer provides a sneak peek into the film's enticing plot, which mainly focuses on the upheaval of a strange person as they encounter new cultures. The title, "Every place is home and everyone is kin," is taken from a well-known poem written in Tamil by Kaniyan Poongundranar.
Interestingly, for the first time for the actor's film, three famed directors, Magizh Thirumeni, Mohan Raja and Karu Palaniappan play crucial roles. The movie promises to be a thrilling adventure with stunning visuals, gripping music by Nivas K Prasanna, and stellar performances by the cast.
Vijay Sethupathi, who is known for his versatility and charisma, looks impressive in different avatars and languages. Megha Akash, who plays his love interest, adds charm and freshness to the screen. Magizh Thirumeni, who is making his acting debut, plays a mysterious character who seems to have a connection with Vijay Sethupathi’s past.
Late actor Vivek brings his comic timing and wit to the movie. Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir is produced by S.Essaki Durai under the banner of Chandaraa Arts in association with Cine Innovations. The movie is slated to hit the screens on May 19, 2023.
