The Kannada superstar Shivraj Kumar, who made his Tamil debut with Rajinikanth-starrer ‘Jailer’, has expressed his gratitude to the crew and fans in a touching video. The actor, who played a pivotal role in the pan-India film, said that he will cherish the love and support he received from everyone. 

The video, which was posted on the official Twitter handle of Sun Pictures, the production house behind ‘Jailer’, has gone viral on social media. In the video, Shivraj Kumar thanked the director Nelson Dilipkumar, the co-stars Rajinikanth, Mohanlal, Vasanth Ravi, Vinayakan and Jackie Shroff, and the technicians for making him feel comfortable and welcome on the sets. He also praised Rajinikanth for his humility and generosity, and said that he learned a lot from him.

Shivraj Kumar also thanked the fans of Rajinikanth and Mohanlal for accepting him as one of their own, and said that he was overwhelmed by their response to the film. He said that he will keep their love in his heart, and hoped to work with them again in the future.

The actor, who has been ruling the Kannada film industry for over three decades, has now expanded his fan base across the country with his impressive performance in ‘Jailer’. The actor has also received several offers from other film industries, and is reportedly considering them. It is worth mentioning that the veteran star to next to be seen in Captain Miller, which lead by Dhanush, directed by Arun Matheswaran.

‘Jailer’, which released on August 10, 2023, has been receiving rave reviews from critics and audiences alike. The film, which revolves around a retired police officer who comes out of his shell to take on a powerful gangster, has been hailed as a thrilling and entertaining action drama. The film has also been praised for its stellar performances, especially by Rajinikanth, who has shown his versatility and charisma in a different avatar.

The film has also been doing well at the box office, breaking several records in India and overseas. According to trade analysts, the film has grossed over Rs 90 crore in Tamil Nadu in just two days, making it one of the biggest hits of 2023.
