Watch: DSP trailer is out...Vijay Sethupathi has a power-packed role in this action entertainer!

After creating a massive amount of buzz, the trailer of the much-awaited action flick, DSP is here. The Vijay Sethupathi fans are in for a major treat as the trailer has him in a power-packed role, totally back to his heroic times. This is also the first time that the Kollywood star will be sharing the screen space with the actress Anukreethy Vas. 

On Friday - November 25, Vijay Sethupathi shared the trailer on social media and wrote, "Please watch DSP trailer. DSPonDec2nd  A @ponramvvs directorial A @immancomposer musical A @stonebenchers production". DSP is bankrolled by director Karthick Subbaraj under his banner Stone Bench production and is directed by Ponram, who rose to fame by directing the movies Varuthapadatha Vaalibar Sangam, Rajini Murugan, Seema Raja, and MGR Magan. 

The two-minute trailer promises fantastic action scenes and is expected to give Vijay Sethupathi the much-needed break in 2022. The film is slated to release on December 02, as per the update. The first single, 'Nalla Iruma' was out a few days ago. The spontaneous background music, peppered in the entire trailer has been composed by D.Imman. 

Sethupathi's character, Vasco da Gama, is a police officer who arrives in town to curb the bad things done by the antagonist. Vijay Sethupathi played as a police officer last time in the movie 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam'. Along with the lead roles, Prabhakar, Pugazh, Ilavarasu, Gnanasammandhan, Deepa, and Singampuli play the supporting roles. 

Vivek Harshan is in the charge of editing, Dinesh Krishnan B handles the cinematography, and Dinesh Subbarayan worked as a stunt director. It is the first time that Vijay Sethupathi is collaborating with Ponram and DSP will be presented by Kalanithi Maran's Sun Pictures.
