Watch: Dance show from TN BJP candidate and Bigg Boss Tamil fame...It's BJP's style of reaching voters!

As Tamil Nadu is just nine days ahead of the crucial assembly polls, the political parties in the state have been unleashing the final stages of their campaign dramas across the state. While the top parties ADMK and DMK heavily depend upon veteran and senior politicians, the Central ruling BJP has given the task of campaigning for the celebrities.

Tamil Nadu BJP unit has more actors and the party has deployed a fleet of celebrities on the campaign trials across the state. Actors including Radha Ravi, Namitha, Gautami, Gayathri Raghuram have been campaigning in support of BJP's candidates across the state. BJP is going to contest in the upcoming polls in the ADMK alliance in twenty assembly seats and in the Kanyakumari Lok Sabha by-poll. The voters are gathering to see the celebrities than to listen to the BJP's candidates.

Former IPS Officer Annamalai, who last year quitted the civil service and joined BJP, is contesting in the Aravakurichi constituency in the upcoming polls. Annamalai has been serving as the Vice President of the Tamil Nadu BJP Unit and he has been staunchly campaigning in his constituency to enter the assembly as a BJP's representative. To support the campaign, BJP leader and Bigg Boss Tamil fame Gayathri Raghuram has camped in Aravakurichi, which sits in Karur district.

Gayathri Raghuram has camped in the seat for two days during which she traveled with Annamalai and reached out to the people to seek their votes for the former bureaucrat. On Friday, the Bigg Boss fame was on the campaign drive and speaking about the schemes brought by the Central ruling BJP to Tamil Nadu. Moments into her speech, Gayathri Raghuram disembarked from the caravan and started dancing with the women who have gathered at the spot.

The heated roadshow of BJP had then turned out to be a dance show where dozens of women joined the actress and danced happily. In what had become a moment that had stolen the entire campaign, Annamalai had also joined the dance show and began dancing with Gayathri Raghuram. The dance show had lasted for minutes after which the campaign started moving for the next stop.

The BJP members say that this kind of relaxation and dance show is required for the candidates amid the heated campaign trail. The video of the dance show unveiled by Gayathri Raghuram and Annamalai has been going viral and doing rounds on social media. The reports say that besides the election campaign, the voters are also liking such events with many such fashions taking place across the state.

The Central ruling BJP is hoping to win the seats in the Tamil Nadu polls to enhance its base in the crucial state, that has always been going against the Hindutva camp. BJP is contesting in 20 seats across the state and the party has offered tickets to the state leaders and celebrities. Tamil Nadu BJP President L Murugan will be contesting in Dharapuram, Annamalai from Aravakurichi, BJP Mahila Morcha President Vanathi Srinivasan from Coimbatore South, and actor turned politician Khushbu Sundar will be contesting from Thousand Lights in Chennai.

The BJP has announced former Union Minister Pon. Radhakrishnan as the candidate for the Kanyakumari Lok Sabha by-poll. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be campaigning for the BJP candidates in Tamil Nadu on April 1. Tamil Nadu will be going through the single-phase poll on April 6 and the votes would be counted on May 2 during which the results will be announced.
