Another bombshell is being baked for ADMK leaders Edappadi Palaniswami and O Panneerselvam as the sound of their celebrations in light of the party's golden jubilee anniversary has been muffled in wake of VK Sasikala's prospective political comeback. After startling the current ADMK leaders by stealing the show of the anniversary, Sasikala is now ready with her next big plan to take over the party. 

Sasikala's political game has been troubling the ADMK leaders amid facing whammies of intra-party furores, leadership crisis, and back-to-back raids from Tamil Nadu's anti-corruption agency. Days after vowing her as the ADMK's General Secretary despite the expulsion from the party back in 2017, VK Sasikala is looking towards the south and our sources say that she would be addressing the press about her political comeback ahead of this Diwali. She will be starting her tour from the south with a blueprint to win the ADMK. 

Sasikala's next big plan would be to take part in the Devar Jayanthi celebrations which would be held this October 30 in Pasumpon in the southern district of Ramanathapuram, Tamil Nadu. To make the event grand, her supporters have camped in the scene and are making arrangements to give Sasikala a big political opening as the Devar community has been one of the predominant communities in the state, having a stronghold in eastern and southern districts. It must be noted that the late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and ADMK Supremo J Jayalalithaa had paid respect to Devar on his Jayanthi every year. 

In the footsteps of Jayalalithaa, her close aide VK Sasikala has planned to take part in the Jayanthi this year when the ADMK has been witnessing an unprecedented political divide. It will be the first time in four years that Sasikala would be taking part in the Jayanthi and she will be coming as the General Secretary of the ADMK. Our sources say that after paying respect to Muthuramalinga Devar, Sasikala will be addressing the reporters about her political plan. 

She has also planned to visit the nearby districts and to meet the party cadres to reaffirm them that she is back to politics. VK Sasikala had been waiting for a perfect time to start her innings and it has come in the way of ADMK's 50th anniversary. While the current ADMK leaders had said that the party would hold a month-long event to celebrate the occasion, Sasikala's entry has poured setbacks on them. The party had marked its 50th anniversary on Sunday -October 17, 2021. On Saturday - October 16, Sasikala had visited Jayalalithaa's memorial on Marina Beach in Chennai. She had paid respect to the late leader and broken down with tears amid being surrounded by hundreds of thousands of cadres.

Her Sunday day out had thrown a pack of tension on Edappadi Palaniswami and his camp amid the fact that his leadership had eroded the party. Sasikala had been called as 'Chinnamma' after the demise of Jayalalithaa, whom the cadres fondly called as 'Amma' (Mother). On Saturday, Sasikala gave herself the title of 'Puratchi Thai', to show that she is equal to MGR and Jayalalithaa, who were called as 'Puratchi Thalaivar' and 'Puratchi Thalaivi' respectively. On Sunday, Sasikala had thrown a bombshell towards Edappadi Palaniswami and Panneerselvam by unveiling a stone plaque in which she was named as the ADMK's General Secretary, which seemed everything was preplanned. 

She had hoisted the flag at the MGR Memorial and unveiled the stone plaque and her name above the inscription of 'General Secretary' had shocked the party leaders. Addressing at a function held at the memorial, Sasikala said, "Everyone here knows the reason why I stood aside during the assembly elections. No harm should come to the party because of me. The divisions among us had helped our enemies. At this time, unity is important." The political observers say that her speech had sent a signal to Edappadi Palansiwami and O Panneerselvam to come together and to accept her leadership to unite the party. 

By displaying her allegiance to the party founders and cadres, Sasikala said that she had ensured that the ADMK came back to power before her jail sentence. However, the current ADMK leaders have been affirming that there is no place for Sasikala in the party. While Sasikala held celebrations at MGR memorial house, the ADMK leaders had unfolded the party's golden jubilee celebrations at its headquarters in Royapettah and it didn't forget to slam Sasikala and her new title of Puratchi Thai. Senior ADMK leader D Jayakumar asked Sasikala that what revolution she has done to call herself Puratchi Thai. She has done Puratchi to benefit her family alone. Jayakumar has further said that ADMK has taken legal action against Sasikala for hoisting the party flag for calling herself the general secretary of the party as she was ousted from the party.
