VK Sasikala gives a surprise amid grand welcome: A look into her arrival in Chennai!

VK Sasikala, who was the close confidante of late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, is hours ahead of her arrival to Chennai as she returns to Tamil Nadu after completing the four-year prison sentence in Bengaluru. Amid the sharp speculations on her political resurgence, Sasikala's arrival in Tamil Nadu has been widely covered across the nation with pouring incessant political spotlight on her, ahead of the state assembly polls.

VK Sasikala had served four-year imprisonment in the Parapanna Agrahara Central Prison in Bengaluru and she has got released on January 27, 2021. After the hospitalization for the COVID-19 viral infection, it was announced that she will be arriving in Chennai on Monday afternoon. As per the announcement, Sasikala had started from Bengaluru at around 8 am on Monday- February 8 towards Chennai and when it was confirmed that she has started from Bengaluru, her supporters had gathered throughout her way to offer a royal welcome to her.

Amid the police complaint filed by the ADMK ministers urging the police to take action against her for using the ADMK flag illegally, Sasikala boarded the car that was used by Jayalalithaa with the ADMK flag from Bengaluru, which had reiterated her strong message to the ADMK that she is ready to take over the party from the current rulers. However, the Krishnagiri police department had said that she has to remove the flag after entering Tamil Nadu, failing which, legal action will be taken against her.

However, when she arrived at the border, she had changed her car and continued her travel with the ADMK flag. According to reports, the car belongs to the ADMK member who has legal rights to use the ADMK flag. Giving a major shock to the ADMK leaders by using the car of the party member, Sasikala entered Tamil Nadu with the procession of hundreds of cars and thousands of supporters who welcomed and hailed her.

Ahead of starting from Bengaluru, she had paid floral tribute to Jayalalithaa, and when she was on her way towards the Tamil Nadu border, she had surprised everyone by suddenly stopping her car and taking a selfie with her supporter. According to reports, the visuals from the spot had shown that the supporter was seen surpassing every security vehicle and rushing near to Sasikala's vehicle. He was seen speaking with Sasikala to take a selfie.

While the police and security personnel had blocked him, Sasikala told them to allow him following which he took a selfie with her and the visuals are going viral. While Sasikala stopped her car to take the selfie, her car was surrounded by dozens of supporters who took the pictures of her. In what had resembled the motorcade of the foreign leaders, Sasikala's convoy was filled with hundreds of her supporters and security forces.

When Sasikala reached Hosur, she went to a temple and she offered prayers and while she was offering prayers, she can be seen wearing ADMK's cloth around her, which further shocked the ADMK leaders. Sasikala has been surfaced with the speculations to take over the ADMK ahead of the elections and her supporters and the party members of the Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam have been unfolding the large-scale celebrations across Tamil Nadu to offer a royal welcome.

At the time of writing this content, Sasikala has arrived in Krishnagiri and was welcomed by the huge number of supporters who had thrown flower petals on her car to celebrate her arrival and some had gone to the extent of offering the welcome through Drone where the drone carried the poster with Sasikala and Jayalalithaa. The visuals from her way to Chennai have been making headlines across and beyond the borders and they have captured the scale of the crowd that would come in support of Sasikala when she decides to trigger a political drift within the ADMK party.

According to reports, Sasikala would be arriving in Chennai during the evening hours of Monday by carrying the expectations on her political resurgence. Sasikala's motorcade would arrive in Chennai with a delay as the reports say that there have been 56 points of welcome installed by her supporters and she would stop by at every point and accept the royal welcome from the supporters. As she has strongly signaled that she is ready for the battle to take over the ADMK from current leaders, the leaders of the party are keenly watching how the developments are getting unfolded.

ADMK leaders are largely concerned about her arrival and they are taking measures to stop her from dominating the party. Apart from filing the police complaint with the Tamil Nadu DGP for using the ADMK flag, the Krishnagiri police department has on Monday issued a legal notice to Sasikala for using the ADMK flag in her car. After arriving in Chennai, it has been expected that she will be driving towards the residence in T Nagar in the city, which will become her new address.
