Kollywood actor Vishnu Vishal has on Thursday tied a knot with Indian badminton champion Jwala Gutta in Hyderabad in a ceremony that was attended by few people close to the groom and bride. The pictures of the wedding were later released and they have been going viral on social media.
The couple had kept the ceremony close to the family members in light of the COVID-19 pandemic and rising cases in the state. Jwala Gutta and Vishnu Vishal had made their relationship public in September last year, when they announced their engagement. Recently, the actor has announced their wedding date on social media.
In his note, he wrote, "We thank you for all the love you have showered upon us over the years and seek blessings as we embark on this journey of love, loyalty, friendship, and togetherness". He captioned the invitation by stating, "Life is a journey. Embrace it. Have faith and take the leap. Need all your love and support as always."
The pre-wedding festivities began on Wednesday for which Jwala wore a yellow ghagra with embroidery and gold jewelry while Vishnu Vishal was seen wearing a kurta with a black and gold waistcoat. They both tied a knot on Thursday and at the wedding ceremony, the bride had worn a sky blue saree and the groom was seen with the plain white silk shirt and veshti. The ceremony had full-filled and emotional moments as ingredients.
While Vishnu Vishal is one of the leading actors, Jwala Gutta was a Badminton Champion. She is a recipient of the Arjuna Award and has represented India in the Olympics in 2012 and 2016. She has won medals at most major international badminton tournaments and multi-sport events, and she is popularly known for her record in mixed and doubles badminton.
Vishnu Vishal is better known for his roles in movies including Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu, Mundasupatti, Jeeva, Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaaran, Ratsasan, and Silukkuvarpatti Singam. He was recently seen in the Telugu film Aranya (Kaadan in Tamil). He shared the screen space with Rana Daggubati and received a decent reception. The wedding has become one of the popular ceremonies in 2021 and the celebrities across and beyond the borders have been congratulating the newlyweds and the hashtag of #JWALAVISHED has been trending on social media.
