'You're not going to bring Ibrahim Malik...you're going to bring India's prestige'- Ain't it been a long time since we heard these dialogues in the movies? Certainly...and Vishal has been taken the charge of the role acting in Pakistan's border and in the pattern of the terrorism that was left by Vijayakanth. Tamannah's build-up for the actor and his stunts for action prompts and ignites the action-ated mode of Sundar C's new movie 'Action'.

Pazha Karuppiah, the honest Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu has announced his heir 'Ramki' as the next Chief Ministerial candidate. Pazha Karuppiah's family came through severe destruction after a bomb blast that had occurred in a public event participated by India's Prime Ministerial Candidate. Vishal, an army officer, is the youngest in the family of Pazha Karuppiah and with the motive of taking revenge on the enmity and against the villains, he travels for London, Turkey, and Pakistan and eventually succeeds in his motive.

The first scene of the movie is presenting with the rarest stunt scenes for the audience from Turkey's Istanbul which manages to reveal that the movie has been packed with full of actions and set to give good comeback for Vishal. Through the first scene, director Sundar C has expressed his confidence in making the movie with full of actions and the upcoming sequences had justified his confidence where he had kept his trademark aspects of family sentiments and comedy far away from the cameras of Action but he seemed to be satisfying the eyes and the minds of majority audiences by packing the mixture of family, romance and comedy in the first half of the movie and the action which begins after that had managed to go on till the end of the movie.

Its indeed Vishal's hard work and effort that adds strength to the movie and the stunt director Anbariv and his team had unleashed its stunting tricks in the first half and Cinematographer Dudley had given his best efforts in filming the magnificent scenes and the beauty of various countries in which the movie was filmed. The cameras have been traveling as equal to the speed of the stunts but despite that, the cameras had defected in capturing the nuances of different landscapes. 'Yogi'Babu brings laughter and a slight smile through his scenes while the other comedian Sha Ra and his attempts seemed to have not worked as expected that had arisen the claim on whether its high time that Sundar C must enhance his comedic techniques and movie making strategies.

The attempt of packing reel full of actions must be welcomed but the real feel of actions will have justice based on the motive behind the stunts and actions, the backgrounds of the stunts and the capacity of the fighters and this movie 'Action' fails in picturing  the real and complete interesting mode of watching movie by having the regular tone of the stunts. Adding to that, Vishal's unrealistic bike stunts on the terrace and the roof of the house, in the stairs and in the interiors of the building had brought in more drawbacks to the movie. The screenplay of Sundar C, Subha, and Venkat Raghavan hasn't filled with thrilling knots, suspense and with effective intelligence but occupied with the direct chase and stunts and Tamil Cinema Industry has been hacking the 'hacking' method that portrays the scenes of hacking without having any hacking devices and Yogi Babu has been given with more independence on his role of 'Hacker' and Vishal travels overseas as and whenever he wishes to and these discrepancies had brought in a quest about the awareness of the movie's team on the expectations of the audiences.

In the middle of actions, Badri has attempted to take the movie close to the heart through his dialogues with mixtures of romance and prevailing politics. While Tamannah and Akanksha Puri had kept themselves busy in actions, Aishwarya Lekshmi attracts the audience silently. Ramki, Chaya Singh, and Sayaji Shinde and the rest of the crew had delivered justice to their respective roles whereas Hip Hop Tamizha's music traveling along with the movie without an impact and so does Srikanth who edited the movie as per the sequences.

Vijay Sethupathi has made a special appearance in this movie where he was pictured at the beginning of the movie and the movie team has shown the intelligence in updating the audiences through him that the characters shown in the film have adopted to the Tamil language with the view of causing no difficulties and language barriers for the Tamil audiences..but eventually they failed to impose same intelligence in the movie and its story that had presented with no surprising or interesting moments which inevitably makes 'Action' line up with 'Vivegam' and 'Kaapaan'.
