Vishal has proved his mettle as a versatile actor and a bankable star with his latest film ‘Mark Antony’. The action thriller, directed by Aadhik Ravichandran, has received rave reviews from critics and audiences alike, and has achieved a remarkable feat at the box office. The film has grossed over Rs 100 crore worldwide, making it one of the highest-grossing Tamil films of the year.

In Tamil Nadu, ‘Mark Antony’ has reportedly collected over Rs 55 crore so far, surpassing the expectations of the trade analysts. The film has also performed well in the overseas markets, earning over Rs 30 crore from overseas. The Hindi version of the film was released in theatres on September 28, and has received a positive response there too. The film is expected to have a long run at the box office, owing to its strong word-of-mouth and positive reviews.

The film is about two young sons of 70s gangsters who find a time travel machine in 1995. The machine sends their lives on a wacky roller coaster ride and has impressed the viewers with its gripping plot, stunning visuals, and thrilling action sequences.

Vishal has delivered a stellar performance as the titular character. Produced by S. Vinod Kumar under Mini Studio. The film stars Vishal and S. J. Suryah in dual roles, alongside Ritu Varma, Sunil, Selvaraghavan and Abhinaya. 

The music is composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, while the cinematography and editing are handled by Abinandhan Ramanujam and Vijay Velukutty.  ‘Mark Antony’ is a milestone film for Vishal and his fans, who are eagerly waiting for his next projects. The actor is currently working on his upcoming film ‘Thupparivaalan 2’, which is a sequel to his 2017 hit detective thriller. He is also gearing up for his debut in the Telugu film industry with ‘Enemy’, which is an action drama co-starring Arya.
