The trailer of ‘Lal Salaam’, the upcoming cricket drama directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth, has been released and it has already created a buzz among the fans. The film, which is set in the 1980s, features Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth as the lead cricketers and has music by the legendary AR Rahman.

But the highlight of the trailer is the presence of none other than the Superstar himself, who plays an extended cameo role in the film. Social media has been buzzing with excitement since the trailer of 'Lal Salaam' was shown to none other than the legendary Rajinikanth.

The superstar was watching the trailer at his friend's house when his reaction was captured on video. With a huge, beaming smile on his face, Rajinikanth was impressed and moved by the trailer. The video has since gone viral on social media, giving fans a glimpse of the superstar's infectious smile. 

Aishwarya Rajinikanth, who is making her third directorial debut with ‘Lal Salaam’, has expressed her happiness and gratitude for having her father in her film. She praised his dedication, devotion, and seriousness towards the work, and said that he brought a lot of energy and charisma to his role.

The film boasts of a stellar cast, including Senthil, Jeevitha, Thambi Ramaiah, Vivek Prasanna, and Thangadurai, who play supporting roles. The film is produced by Lyca Productions, and has cinematography by Vishnu Rangasamy and editing by B. Pravin Baaskar, who have given the film a realistic and gritty look. Lal Salaam is slated to hit the theatres on 9th February 2024.
