Viral Update: Makers share the teaser release date of Dhanush's Captain Miller!

The countdown has begun for the most awaited teaser of the year - Captain Miller, starring the versatile and charismatic Dhanush in the lead role. The film, directed by Arun Matheswaran, is a period action-adventure set in the 1930s, and promises to showcase Dhanush in a never-before-seen avatar. With Captain Miller, the actor is all set to surprise his fans once more with his unique portrayal of a rebel leader in the pre-independence era.

The makers now shared a new announcement poster of the teaser release date by taking us to Twitter , which shows Dhanush’s hand holding an axe sickle again, but this time with blood stains on it. They wrote, "Get ready to experience the never before of @dhanushkraja  #CaptainMiller Teaser on 28th JULY 2023" , referring to both Dhanush’s birthday and the historic invasion of Normandy during World War II.

The teaser of Captain Miller will be released on July 28, 2023, coinciding with the birthday of the two-time National Award-winning actor. Captain Miller is produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, who have delivered several blockbuster hits in the past.

The film has a stellar star cast, including Kannada superstar Dr. Shivarajkumar, Telugu actor Sundeep Kishan, Priyanka Arul Mohan as the female lead, Antony, Nivedhithaa Sathish, John Kokken of Thunivu fame, and Malayalam actor Moor among others. The music for the film is composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar.

They released an official announcement video last year, which hinted at the film’s theme of rebellion and revolution against the British Raj. The first look poster of Captain Miller recently which showed Dhanush holding an axe sickle in his hand and looking fierce. The poster also had the tagline “Respect is freedom”, which further raised the expectations among the fans. The poster received a phenomenal response from the audience and the critics alike, and also inspired many fan-made artworks.

Now, the fans are eagerly waiting for the teaser of Captain Miller, which is expected to be a visual treat with stunning action sequences and breathtaking cinematography. The teaser will also reveal the release date of the film, which is speculated to be during the Diwali season.
