The upcoming trilingual film of Dhanush, tentatively titled D51, is creating a lot of buzz in the film industry. The project, which marks the collaboration of the National Award-winning actor and the acclaimed Telugu director Sekhar Kammula, is expected to be a mega multistarrer with a stellar cast. The film will be shot simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, and will have music by the maestro A.R. Rahman.

The latest rumors have it that Rashmika Mandanna and Sai Pallavi, two of the most well-known and skilled actresses in South India, will play Dhanush's leading ladies in the film. But that’s not all. The film will also have a special appearance by none other than the legendary Telugu actor Nagarjuna Akkineni. The veteran star, who is known for his versatile roles and charismatic screen presence, will reportedly play a pivotal role in the film. He will join the shoot for 20-25 days and add more star power to the project.

The film, which was launched with a pooja ceremony last year in Hyderabad, is produced by Narayan Das K Narang, Suniel Narang, and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under their banners Sree Venkateswara Cinemas and Amigos Creations. The makers are yet to reveal the title and the genre of the film, but it is speculated that it will be a romantic drama with a social message.

The fans of Dhanush are eagerly waiting for his birthday on July 28, as the makers are expected to make some official announcements regarding the film on that day. They are also looking forward to the teaser of his other film Captain Miller, directed by Arun Matheswaran, and the title reveal of his 50th film D50, directed by Karthick Naren.

D51 is one of the most anticipated films of Dhanush, who has been delivering back-to-back hits in Tamil and Hindi cinema. The actor, who won his second National Award for his performance in Asuran, has also made his mark in Hollywood with  Netflix’s The Gray Man, directed by Russo Brothers, alongside Chris Evans and Ryan Gosling.
