Viral story: Venkat Prabhu's next gets a title...Check out the terrific first look!

Popular director Venkat Prabhu, who is known for the action commercial Mangatha, Chennai 68, and Maanaadu, is filming his first bilingual project with Telugu's top star Naga Chaitanya and actress Krithi Shetty. The project was started with the tentative title 'NC22' and now, it has gotten the official title. 

The project has been titled 'Custody' and the first look poster and title were shared on the social media on Wednesday - November 23 on the occasion of Naga Chaitanya's birthday. Venkat Prabhu will also work with his regular musical collaborator, Yuvan Shankar Raja for this project. Sharing the title and poster, Venkat Prabhu on social media, Venkat Prabhu wrote, "Let’s be the change we want to see in the world! Happy bday bro  @chay_akkineni  let the hunt begin!" 

It has been confirmed that Jiiva, Sarathkumar, Arvind Swami, Priyamani, Sampath Raj, Vennela Kishore, and Premgi Amaren will all be featured prominently in the upcoming mega-multistarrer Custody. The film will be shot in Hyderabad, Rajahmundry, Chennai, and Kerala and feature original music composed by the duo of Ilayaraja and Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film is backed by Srinivasaa Chitturi under his own banner of Srinivasaa Silver Screen.

Yannick Ben, a Hollywood stuntman who has worked on blockbusters like "Transporter 3," "Dunkirk," "Inception," and "City Hunter," will be contributing to the upcoming Custody, so audiences can expect some high-octane stunts. And Chaitanya will play a tough cop in the movie.

Earlier reports indicated that Aravind Swamy would play the film's antagonist, while Naga Chaitanya would play a more serious role. Cameraman SR Kathir, Production Designer Rajeevan, Editor Venkat Raajen, Art Director DY Satya Narayanan, Stunt Director Mahesh Mathew, and Choreographer Sathish Krishnan make up the technical crew. Custody has been slated for a theatrical release in April 2023.
