Suriya has a very astounding record of successfully rolling into action movies. The Singam franchise starring Anushka Shetty is his most worthy-of-note release on the list. According to the most recent report, this big star actor will soon be ready to entertain his fans once more with Duraisingam avatar. Singam was directed by Hari, who recently helmed the movie 'Yaanai' starring Arun Vijay. 

The second film of Singam, titled Singam 2, was released in 2013 to positive reviews after the first film in the series, Singam, which got released in 2010. The third film was released in 2017, but reviews were contrary. The box office numbers, however, showed a quick buck. Even though Hari is preoccupied with another project, reports claim that he has been simultaneously working on Singam 4. 

To take a final form, though, might require some more time. Hari would tell Suriya the final script once it was ready. "At present Hari is busy with another project, but he is simultaneously working on the script of the fourth installment. He has an idea and is presently in the discussion stage, however, it will take some time to lock in the final story.

Once that is done, he will narrate the story to Suriya. The actor too is aware of the development of Singam 4, and is excited about the project," informs a source close to the development. The duo also worked on 'Aaru' and 'Velu' previously where Suriya starred with Trisha and Asin respectively. The actor, who received National Award for the film Soorarai Potru, is already winning hearts.

He is currently working on a Sirutai Siva-directed, PAN-Indian film with the working title "Suriya 42". In the two-part 3D periodic drama that is being produced in 10 languages, Disha Patani is making her Tamil acting debut alongside Suriya. Additionally, Suriya is also working on Vaadivaasal with Vetrimaaran.
