Love Today, directed by Pradeep Ranganathan, got released on November 4 and gradually rose in popularity among moviegoers as its portrayal of contemporary love in the era of social media captured the attention of the younger audience. 

Pradeep Ranganathan, who is known for directing the movie 'Comali' starring Jayam Ravi, also acted in the lead role of Love Today. This clever romantic comedy was made at a budget of Rs 5 crores and the latest reports suggest that the movie is rocking at the box office. According to the sources in the know, Love Today had garnered Rs 50 crores worldwide as of Monday - November 14, on its tenth day of release. 

Of these 50 crores, the movie has grossed Rs 40 crore from Tamil Nadu alone and the success in the hometown is raising the bar as it enters Tollywood, and soon the Telugu trailer of the movie will be launched by Vijay Deverakonda. The film Love Today has Sathyaraj, Radhika Sarathkumar, and Yogi Babu playing the key supporting roles, with Ivana and Raveena Ravi playing the female lead roles. 

The plot begins with a father compelling his daughter to swap her phone with her lover's in order to gauge how well they know one another. Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the film's score and music, while Dinesh Purushothaman shot the movie and Pradeep E. Ragav edited it. The movie demonstrated its excellence with praise from Silambarasan and Superstar Rajinikanth. Furthermore, there have been rumors that Pradeep may collaborate with Thalapathy Vijay.
