The Golden Visa initiative was created in 2019 to recruit and retain talent from across the world, as well as to showcase the UAE as an excellent place to live and work. These visas are valid for ten years and are automatically renewed.
The official website of the UAE said that The Golden Visa is a long-term residence visa that enables foreign talents to live and work or study in the UAE while enjoying exclusive benefits. Investors, entrepreneurs, scientists, outstanding students and graduates, humanitarian pioneers, and frontline heroes are amongst those eligible for the Golden visa.
This visa enables one to work or study in UAE while enjoying exclusive benefits, only for those with exclusive talents. Movie actors fall under the 'Persons with specialized talents' category while creative individuals in culture can be allocated a visa if they get accredited by the UAE's Ministry of Culture and Youth.
