Popular actor Vishal expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday for the renovation work that has been done in the Kasi temple in Varanasi, which is a parliamentary constituency of Modi. Vishal visited the holy city along with actor Nanda on a spiritual journey and the former shared how the city has been transformed. His tweet is going viral as several followers of Modi are sharing it on social media.
Taking to Twitter, Vishal wrote: "Dear Modiji, I visited Kasi. Had a wonderful darshan/pooja and touched holy water of Ganga river". "God bless you for the transformation you have done to the temple by renovating and making it look even more wonderful and easy for anyone to visit Kasi. Hats off, Salute you!" he added. The Kashi Vishwanath Corridor was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in December last year.
It's worth mentioning that Prime Minister Modi discussed adapting Kashi into Kyoto, a Japanese city. By mutual consent with the owners of about 400 buildings and homes, the government acquired them. As part of the project to rebuild the Kashi Vishwanath temples, these buildings were destroyed.
PM Modi had officially opened the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, exactly two months before the Uttar Pradesh assembly polls, which the BJP won. On the work front, Vishal is awaiting the release of a number of movies, including the eagerly awaited "Laththi," in which he portrays a police officer, and the high-profile film "Mark Antony," directed by Adhik Ravichandran.
