For the first time after a decade, Kollywood's coolest and iconic brothers are coming together to present yet another remarkable movie. After a successful collaboration of 'Mayakam Enna' ten years back, actor Dhanush and his brother and director Selvaraghavan have now signed a project that has been titled 'Naane Varuven'.

This new project has already started to gain traction among the fans of the duo and it has now been reported that Naane Varuven will most likely lock horns with fabled director Mani Ratnam's magnum opus 'Ponniyin Selvan 1'. Selvaraghavan released the posters on Monday that didn't carry the official release date but it was stamped that the movie will be released soon in the theatres.

Dhanush will be playing dual roles and interestingly, one will be the protagonist and the other will be the antagonist. Naane Varuven's story will be revolving around the story of deja vu between two identical people. The reports close to the developments say that Naane Varuven would be slated for the September release and if it locks horns with Ponniyin Selvan, it will be one of the biggest clashes in the Indian cinema industry this year.

Naane Varuven is bankrolled by Kalaipuli S Thanu under his own banner 'V Creations'. While Dhanush plays the lead role, the movie will also have Selvaraghavan in the screen space and Prabhu, Yogi Babu, Indhuja, and Shelly Kishore play important roles. Music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and it is the fifth time that Dhanush and Selvaraghavan joined hands after Ilamai, Kadhal Kondein, Pudhupettai, and Mayakkam Enna.

In the newly released poster; Dhanush in one of the pictures was seen grainy while sporting a knit cap and full beard, whereas, in another photo, he was clean-shaven. Along with the posters from the crew, the makers announced that it will soon be shown in theatres.
