The fans of Prabhas and Prashanth Neel are in for a treat as the producer of Salaar, Vijay Kiragandur, has spilled the beans on the much-awaited sequel of the blockbuster action film. The film, directed by Prashanth Neel of KGF fame, is a story of two friends who become enemies in a mythical city called Khansaar. 

In an interview, he revealed that Salaar Part 2 will hit the screens by the end of 2025 and will be a grand spectacle of drama, politics and action. “Salaar Part 1 was just a glimpse of what is to come. Part 2 will have a lot more twists and turns and will showcase the true power of Salaar.Both Prabhas and Prashanth Neel are interested in starting part 2 very soon. The story is ready. Despite a few negative comments, no one complained about the making and scale in part 1." he said.

Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire, which released on December 22, 2023, was a massive success at the box office, despite receiving mixed reviews from the critics. Salaar, which is produced by Hombale Films, is a pan-Indian film that stars Prabhas as Deva, a rebel leader who fights against a tyrannical regime. Prithviraj Sukumaran plays the role of Varadharaja Mannar, a ruthless warlord.

The film also features Shruti Haasan, Pramod, Tinu Anand, Jagapathi Babu, Eashwari Rao, Shreya Reddy, Garuda Ram, and Naveen Shankar, among others. Salaar Part 2 will reportedly explore the political angle of Salaar’s rise to power and his clash with his enemies.  

The film's creative team is equally impressive, with Bhuvan Gowda handling the cinematography, Ujwal Kulkarni editing, and Anbarivu orchestrating the stunts.The film will also feature some new faces, who will play pivotal roles in the story. The fans are eagerly waiting for the official announcement of the cast and crew of Salaar Part 2, which is expected to be made soon.
