Kamal Haasan, the Ulaganayagan of Indian cinema, is all set to play the villain in the upcoming sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD. The film, which stars Prabhas and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles, is directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies.

The film is based on the concept of time travel and features Prabhas in the role of Kalki, the tenth avatar of Vishnu.
