Iconic music composer A R Rahman is fostering his movie-making skills by touching the untouched creations. Thanks to his exploring venture, his latest movie 'Le Musk' is prepared for the launch and who would be a best critic for his movie other than Superstar Rajinikanth? Yes, the legendary star watched Le Musk, which is a virtual reality thriller curated by A R Rahman and his unique directorial is a talk of the town.
Unlike a theatrical experience, Le Musk has to be seen through a virtual reality platform, which is being dubbed as the next level of watching cinema. For being instrumental on testing this experience through Le Musk, A R Rahman is gaining more attention for his new venture that is being driven by testing new ideas. The movie, which stars Nora Arnezeder, Guy Burnet, Munirih Grace, and Mariam Zohrabyan, runs for 37 minutes, according to the official website.
The film follows the journey of an orphaned child, full-time heiress, and part-time musician, who grows up to be a diva on a mission. Throughout the movie, she has a constant companion- the Muskan scent. Her life takes a dramatic turn when she receives an anonymous message through which she goes into a mysterious past. The preview of Le Musk was shown on April 27, 2017, in Las Vegas.
Furthermore, Le Musk had its premiere at 72nd Cannes International Film Festival in 2019. The entire film was shot in Rome in a span of 13 days and has garnered global attention. The movie was also screened at this year's Cannes Film Festival and several Indian stars watched it through the virtual reality platform. Earlier, actors including Madhavan, Nayanthara, and director Vignesh Shivan watched the movie and commended AR Rahman.
In line with them, Superstar Rajinikanth watched Le Musk and A R Rahman shared the pictures of the former watching the movie in a simulator. The music composer took to social media and wrote, "Check who is watching Le Musk." The pictures have been going viral as several fans are queuing up to leave their comments. Interestingly, Rahman has written, directed, and produced Le Musk, and composed its music.
Rajinikanth watched the movie on Wednesday and in the wee hours of Thursday - December 1, Rajinikanth's daughter Aishwarya shared the pictures of his father's friendly catch-up with A R Rahman. Taking to Twitter, she wrote, "When two amazing human beings meet and you happen to be the reason...you are blessed and of course they are the best! A R Rahman sir and Rajinikanth appa."
On the work front, Rajinikanth is busy in the outing with director Nelson Dilipkumar for the movie 'Jailer', while A R Rahman has a pipeline of projects including Simbu's 'Pathu Thala', Sivakarthikeyan's 'Ayalaan', Udhayanidhi Stalin's 'Maamannan', and he will also be scoring the music for Kamal Haasan- Mani Ratnam's new project besides scoring for the second part of Ponniyin Selvan. On the other hand, Aishwarya Rajinikanth is currently directing the movie 'Lal Salaam'.
