Music composer and actor GV Prakash has confirmed the realization of his dream project, a love-genre film directed by the acclaimed filmmaker Ram. Expressing his excitement to work under Ram's direction and with the young maestro Yuvan Shankar Raja, Prakash assured fans that this much-anticipated venture is a certainty.
In a recent interview, GV Prakash disclosed, "I was supposed to embark on a film under Ram sir's direction with Yuvan Shankar Raja's music a while back. However, it faced delays due to Ram sir's prior commitments. I am thrilled to announce that the movie will indeed happen, and it falls under the love genre."
He emphasized that this project is a dream endeavour for him. The news has quickly gained traction across social media platforms. On the other hand, GV Prakash juggles various projects like Rebel, Kalvan, and Dear, Captain Miller, Thangalaan, SK 21, Suriya 43, Siren, and Chiyaan 62.
Remarkably, "Purananooru" will mark his 100th film as a composer. His latest on-screen appearance was in the movie "Adiyae." GV Prakash is set to compose for the Tamil directorial debut of Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap.
Director Ram, renowned for his realistic and impactful love dramas like "Katrathu Tamizh" and "Tharamani," is expected to bring a fresh perspective to this collaboration. And it also adds intriguing anticipation for the composer-actor to work with Yuvan Shankar Raja. Meanwhile, fans also await director Ram's upcoming release, Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai starring Nivin Pauly and Soori.
