The latest sensation in Kollywood to groove along is the song “Swagathaanjali” from the upcoming horror-comedy film Chandramukhi 2, starring Kangana Ranaut and Raghava Lawrence. The song, composed by M.M. Keeravani and sung by Sreenidhi Tirumala, has crossed 3 million views on YouTube within a day of its release, breaking records.

The song is a tribute to the iconic character of Chandramukhi, played by Ranaut, whose backstory of her transformation to vengeful spirit. The song is a fusion of classical and modern elements, with catchy beats and lyrics that celebrate the beauty and grace of Chandramukhi.

The song also features glimpses of the film’s lead Raghava Lawrence, who portrays the Vettaiyan King. The song has received rave reviews from fans and critics alike, who have praised the music, vocals, choreography, and cinematography of the song.  Chandramukhi 2 is the sequel to the 2005 blockbuster hit Chandramukhi, which starred Rajinikanth and Jyothika in the lead roles.

The film also stars Vadivelu, Srushti Dange, Lakshmi Menon, Raadhika Sarathkumar, and Mithun Shyam in supporting roles. The film is produced by Subaskaran Allirajah under the banner Lyca Productions, which has also announced that the film will release on September 19, 2023, coinciding with Ganesh Chaturthi.
