The wait is almost over for the fans, who are eagerly looking forward to the trailer of his upcoming magnum opus, Captain Miller. As the ‘Captain Miller’ pre-release event ended with the talk of the town, now it has raised the expectations for the film even higher. 

The actor took to X, a popular social media platform, to announce the trailer release date with a stunning new poster that shows him walking confidently in a grassy field, with a fiery sky in the background eyeing for hope.

The poster has a caption that reads, “Captain Miller trailer 06/01/24”. As per the update,  the trailer will be out tomorrow. Captain Miller is a historical drama directed by Arun Matheswaran, who is known for his critically acclaimed debuts, Rocky and Saani Kaayidham.

The film features Dhanush as a charismatic rebel leader who leads a mass uprising against the oppressive colonial rule in the pre-independence era. The film also marks the second Tamil outing of Kannada superstar Dr. Shivarajkumar, who plays a pivotal role in the film. The film also features Sundeep Kishan, and Priyanka Arul Mohan, who plays the female lead and Dhanush’s love interest.

The music for the film is composed by GV Prakash Kumar, who has collaborated with Dhanush for several hit albums in the past. The film is slated to release around Pongal 2024, which is one of the biggest festivals in Tamil Nadu. The film is expected to be a grand spectacle that showcases the valor and patriotism of the people who fought for freedom and justice.
