Nag Ashwin's Project K, starring Prabhas and Deepika Padukone in a sci-fi action thriller, has been highly anticipated ever since it was first revealed. Amitabh Bachchan and Disha Patani also play important roles in the film, which has a massive budget of Rs 500 crore. Now, Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan himself has joined the film's all-star cast speculations to play the film's main rival.

Reliable sources claim that Kamal Haasan has been cast as Prabhas's antagonist in the upcoming film Project K.  Kamal Haasan, who has been keeping extremely busy with his political obligations and the production of his upcoming film Indian 2, will soon join the sets of Project K to film his portions. According to sources, Kamal Haasan has agreed to allot 20 days for shooting his portions and will be paid a whopping Rs 150 crore for his role.

Project K is a futuristic film that revolves around a mysterious event that changes the course of human history. The film's eye-popping visuals and high-octane action scenes are sure to keep fans on the edge of their seats. The film is being shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi and will also be dubbed in Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. The film is slated to hit the screens on January 12, 2024, in a grand manner.

Project K marks the first collaboration between Kamal Haasan and Prabhas, who are both icons of Indian cinema. It will also be interesting to see how Deepika Padukone fares in her Telugu debut and how she shares screen space with Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan.
