The Kollywood industry is buzzing with excitement as the news of Selvaraghavan’s acting debut in his brother Dhanush’s directorial venture ‘D 50’ has been making rounds. Selvaraghavan, who is a renowned director and screenwriter, has expressed his interest in playing a powerful character in the upcoming gangster drama, which is expected to feature an ensemble cast of SJ Suryah, Vishnu Vishal, Kalidas Jayaram, and Dushara Vijayan.

Selvaraghavan made his acting debut in Beast directed by Nelson Dhilipkumar. He received positive reviews for his performance as a sincere officer. He has also acted in Bakasuran, Saani Kaayidham, Naane Varuven, and Farhana.

However, ‘D 50’ will mark the first time that Selvaraghavan will act under the direction of his younger brother Dhanush, who has previously starred in several of Selvaraghavan’s films such as ‘Thulluvadho Ilamai’, ‘Kadhal Kondein’, ‘Pudhupettai’, and ‘Mayakkam Enna’.

‘D 50’ is speculated to be titled ‘Raayan’ and is said to be a gritty and realistic portrayal of the gangster periodic drama. The film will have music by AR Rahman, who has previously collaborated with Dhanush on his Hindi debut. The film is expected to go on floors soon and will be shot in various locations across India.

Fans of both Selvaraghavan and Dhanush are eagerly awaiting the official confirmation of this news and are hoping to see the talented brothers create magic on screen together. ‘D 50’ is one of the most anticipated films of 2023 and promises to be a treat for the audience.
