Vijay Sethupathi, the versatile actor who has been ruling the Tamil cinema with his diverse roles and performances, is all set to entertain the audience with his upcoming action drama Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir. The film, which has been delayed for a long time due to various reasons, has finally got a release date. 

The makers have announced that Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir will hit the screens on May 19, 2023.However, the film will face a tough competition from another big release on the same day. Vijay Antony’s much-awaited sequel Pichaikkaran 2, which is also a long awaited thriller, is slated to release on May 19 as well. It will be interesting to see how these two films will fare at the box office and among the fans.

Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir, which means ‘Every place is our home and everyone is our kin’, is directed by debutant Venkata Krishna Roghanth. The film has Megha Akash as the female lead and also features director Mohan Raja in a cameo role. 

The film has music composed by Nivas K Prasanna and is produced by Essaki Durai under Chandaraa Arts banner. Ragu Aditya serves as the creative producer, while Vetrivel Mahendran handles the cinematography and John Abraham edits the film.

Vijay Sethupathi was last seenin  bilingual action thriller Michael and the critically acclaimed Viduthalai Part 1 directed by Vetrimaaran. The actor also has several other projects in the pipeline, including Merry Christmas with Bollywood star Katrina Kaif, Gandhi Talks directed by Kishor Pandurang Belekar, and Jawan directed by Atlee.
