In what has become relishing news for Vijay Sethupathi fans, the stellar actor has joined hands with reputed filmmaker Vetrimaaran for the first time in the next movie. Vijay Sethupathi will be a part of a magnificent and impressive crew of the movie 'Viduthalai', which has unveiled its first look posters on Thursday. 

The posters have become a talk of the town as the movie will be featuring comedian-actor Soori in a lead role as the protagonist. The first look posters had undeniably displayed that the movie would pour a huge transformation for Soori and would take him to the dimension of a hero. The posters show Soori as a police officer while Vijay Sethupathi will be featuring as a mentor.

Produced by Elred Kumar under the banner of RS Infotainment, Vidhuthalai will be directed by Vetrimaaran while the music will be composed by Isaignani Illayaraja. The shooting of Vidhuthalai is in a full swing in the forests of Sathyamangalam, Tamil Nadu and it has been reported that the movie will hit the screens in early 2022 and for the shooting, Vetri Maaran, Vijay Sethupathi, Soori, and Bhavani Sree had stayed along with the tribal people and despite the hurdles over the electricity or cell phone network, the shooting is advancing as per the plan.

What's the nucleus of the movie? The reports say that Vidhuthalai is based on a short story written by Jeyamohan and the movie would unveil many nail-biting and thrilling moments. While Ilayaraja composes the music, the technical crew of the team includes Velraj - cinematographer, Ramar- Editor, Peter Hein- Stunt director, and Jacki - Art director. 

Actor Vijay Sethupathi took to Twitter on Thursday and released the posters and wrote, "Here it is Vetri Maaran's Vidhuthalai first look posters". Soori has joined hands with Vetri Maaran for the first time and it is the first movie where he will be featuring as a protagonist. He has been in a rain of wishes and taking to Twitter, Soori wrote, "My heartfelt thanks to brother director Vetri Maaran and Isaignani Ilayaraja for creating such an important moment in my life". 

"I am extremely happy to join in this new dimension with Vijay Sethupathi", Soori added. It has been expected that the shooting would be wrapped by in some months post which the movie team will be busy bringing the movie to the big screen. Elred Kumar will be releasing the movie in Tamil and other Indian languages. The posters have been going viral on social media and the movie has garnered a decent reception. 

The movie will see many firsts - first for Vetri Maaran to work with Soori, Vijay Sethupathi, and Ilayaraja while first for Soori and Vijay Sethupathi to join hands with Vetri Maaran and Ilayaraja. It must be noted that Vijay Sethupathi and Soori had acted in Sangha Tamizhan. Viduthalai will be the next outing for Vetri Maaran after Asuran, which has recently been conferred with the National Award for the Best Movie in Tamil.
