In a significant development, the digital rights of Ajith and Magizh Thirumeni's highly anticipated film, Vidamuyarchi, have been sold. Vidaa Muyarchi, which means determination in Tamil, is the 62nd film of Ajith Kumar. The film was officially announced on Ajith’s 52nd birthday on May 1, 2023, with a title poster that had the tagline 'Efforts Never Fail’.

According to reports from Indiaglitz, Sun TV has secured the television release rights, while Netflix has acquired the OTT release rights, marking a substantial deal estimated at around Rs 250 crore. Renowned for his adeptness in crafting gripping crime thrillers, Magizh Thirumeni has assembled a stellar crew, with Anirudh Ravichander composing the music and Nirav Shah handling the cinematography.

The film is currently progressing into its second schedule, and is expected to hit the screens in early 2024. This venture marks the reunion of Ajith and Arjun Sarja after 12 years, their last collaboration being the 2012 film, Mangatha.

Adding further allure to the star-studded cast, Trisha, a seasoned actress with a history of successful collaborations with Ajith in films like Lesa Lesa, Ji, Kireedam, and Mankatha, has been confirmed as one of the leading ladies. The production, helmed by Lyca Productions, also features the talented Regina Cassandra.

Sources suggest that Ajith will be portraying dual roles in the film, embodying both a 55-year-old and a 30-year-old character. As the film gains momentum, fans are eagerly anticipating the release of a teaser or poster shortly, intensifying the excitement surrounding this much-awaited cinematic venture.
