Udhayanidhi Stalin is all set to embark a statewide tour for the first time after becoming a minister in his father, Chief Minister MK Stalin's cabinet. The statewide tour has been planned to have a round-up at the legislative constituencies across the state ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. 

According to reports, Udhayanidhi Stalin is planning to visit all the 234 assembly constituencies and he will kickstart his tour soon. His plan adds spice to the brewing political heat in the state for the general elections and would put him in a spotlight. Serving a key role as DMK's youth wing secretary, Udhayanidhi is also working to strengthen the important political arm of the party.

As Tamil Nadu Minister of Youth Welfare and Sports Development, Udhayanidhi will also be meeting district-wise sports team during his statewide tour and he will be encouraging the players who are into various sports including cricket, tennis, karate, kabaddi, volleyball, football, shooting, and swimming. Amidst his tour, several sports competition would be organized. 

Udhayanidhi Stalin has also planned to provide basic sports equipment and government fundings to the athletes. Udhayanidhi's plan of a statewide tour has come days after Tamil Nadu BJP president Annamalai has announced a statewide foot march. As per Annamalai's plan, he will be touring the state for 140 days during which he will cover 39 Lok Sabha constituencies.
