Nayanthara, the Lady Superstar of Tamil cinema, is back with a bang in her latest film, Mannangatti Since 1960. The film, which is touted to be a period drama set in the '60s, has created a lot of buzz among the fans and the media.
The makers of the film have recently shared a behind-the-scenes picture of Nayanthara, in which she is seen looking at the shot through the lens. The picture has gone viral on social media, as fans are impressed by Nayanthara’s dedication and professionalism.
The film, which is produced by Prince Pictures, is currently shooting in Kodaikanal. The first schedule of the film was also held in the same location. The film’s official drop the BTS picture of Nayanthara by taking us to X and wrote, “Lady Superstar #Nayanthara from the sets of #MannangattiSince1960 Shoot in progress, in full swing!”.
Nayanthara also took to Instagram and shared the same picture with a caption, “TRUST the MAGIC of New beginnings”. The motion poster of the film released earlier showcased the statue of Lady Justice, standing tall in the witness stand right in the middle of a forest.
The camera then zooms in on the blindfolded eyes, only to transition seamlessly to Nayanthara's piercing gaze. The poster also reveals the name of the donor as Mannangatti. The film has a stellar technical crew, including music director Sean Roldan, whose song Jinguradhanga from Modern Love Chennai has become a hit.
The cinematography is by RD Rajasekhar ISC and the editing is by G Madan. The art direction is by Milan and the costumes are by Anu Vardhan. The film is directed by A Venkatesh and co-produced by S Lakshman Kumar.
