Trisha shines with her releases in 2023 right from Maniratnam's Ponniyin Selvan 1 and 2, Raangi, Leo, and "The Road," a harrowing tale of resilience and revenge. The film, which hit theatres on October 6th, 2023, unveils the gripping story of Meera, portrayed impeccably by Trisha, a character haunted by a traumatic past. Meera's relentless pursuit of the truth leads her on a perilous road trip, unveiling a series of perplexing vehicle disappearances following accidents on the highway.

Now "The Road" is set to make its digital debut on the OTT platform Aha from November 10, offering fans a special Diwali treat. The film will be available in multiple languages, ensuring a wider audience can experience its intense narrative and compelling storytelling.

The movie, helmed by debutant director Arun Vaseegaran and produced by AAA Cinemaa Pvt Ltd, showcases Trisha's exceptional talent alongside a stellar cast. Shabeer Kallarakkal, Santhosh Prathap, Miya George, M. S. Bhaskar, Vela Ramamoorthy, Laxmi Priya, Semmalar Annam, Raatchasan Vinoth, and Karupu Nambiyaar, among others, deliver powerful performances in pivotal roles.

The movie promises more as it boasts impressive visuals captured by cinematographer KG Venkatesh, showcasing challenging shooting conditions and diverse locations. Accompanied by a pulsating musical score composed by Sam CS.
