Trending, Winning, Praising...Madhavan's 'Rocketry' refuses to slow down as it beats these two superhit movies!

Even actor Madhavan would not have expected that his film 'Rocketry' would become this sensational turn-up trump in India. As the film is approaching a week after its release, fans are thronging the theatres and it is being lauded by famous actors and film critics.

The actor is on over the moon witnessing this much reception for his debutant work and responding to praise from nooks and corners of the audience on social media. To add the extra mile for Madhavan's triumphant reception, the world's biggest movie database company, IMDB gave 9.3 stars out of 10 for Rocketry as the movie has beaten two megahit movies 'RRR' and 'KGF 2' in the ratings. 

It is noteworthy to mention that RRR gets 8/10, and KGF-2 gets 8.5/10  in IMDB. The film standout and races high to the sky at rocketry speed as its title says. The Box Office Collection proves that the film hit pay dirt, as the total collection of Rocketry stands at Rs 14 crore worldwide on the fourth day. According to Trade analyst LM Kaushik, Rocketry has earned Rs 27 lakh in three days in Chennai. 

Kaushik wrote, "3-days opening weekend Chennai city gross of the new releases, #Yaanai - 51 lakhs. #DBlock - 44 lakhs. #Rocketry - 27 lakhs". One of the fans said on his handle, ''A man will be wronged again if this is not watched''. The movie is still trending in burning up social media.  

On Monday, Superstar Rajinikanth lauded Madhavan for his work in the movie. The legendary actor has said that 'Rocketry' is a must-watch movie. Responding to Rajinikanth's wishes, Madhavan said, "I don't know what to say and (the credit goes to) Nambi Narayanan sir and the full team. Thank you Rajini sir. It's people like you that make it so worth it. Much love and respect to you,".

On Tuesday- July 5, Madhavan has shared a video of AR Rahman praising the former for the movie. Sharing the video, Madhavan wrote, "Unforgettable moments of my life. AR Rahman sir...Thank you so much." Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is a biographical drama film based on the life of Nambi Narayanan, a former scientist and aerospace engineer of the Indian Space Research Organisation, who was falsely accused of espionage. 

It revolves around the story of the mental trauma went through by Narayanan's family till his complete acquittal. Besides awarding him compensation,  Narayanan was conferred with the Padma Bhushan award in 2019. While Madhavan plays the lead role as Nambi Narayanan in the movie, Simran plays Madhavan's wife. Surya and Shah Rukh Khan both made crucial cameo appearances in the movie. Madhavan in Rocketry promotion said he did a lot of homework for this project, as it was started right after his previous release 'Vikram Vedha', in 2018.
