While the musical debuts of Venky Atluri-Dhanush's Vaathi single has been buzzing in the music charts and has completed million views on youtube, the next fans looking for is the audio launch for the most anticipated flick. The last time Dhanush took the stage for Thiruchitrambalam, it made the viral in town. Now the makers made it loud on the date of the audio launch event.
Taking to Twitter on Tuesday, Sithara Entertainments who bankrolling the feature officially shared the date with an brief announcement video. They wrote, "Let the celebration begin. Our #Vaathi is coming. #Vaathi grand audio launch on 4th Feb #VaathiVaraar @dhanushkraja #VenkyAtluri " The film slated to hit in the theatres on February 17.
The movie's audio launch has been scheduled for February 4 (Saturday) at Sai Ram College in Chennai. The film which will be released in both Tamil and Telugu. The film marks the actor's debut in a bilingual feature. It's worth noting that he reportedly to act in a film directed by another Telugu filmmaker, Sekar Kammula, that will be released in three languages.
Vaathi is presented by Srikara Studios and produced by Suryadeva Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments and Sai Soujanya of Fortune Four Cinemas. In this film from the 1990s, Dhanush portrays Balamurugan, a teacher at a young age. The leading lady is played by Samyuktha Menon. In Telugu, the film is titled Sir. Seven Screen Studio, owned by Lalit Kumar, acquired the rights to distribute the film in Tamil Nadu.

Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Samuthirakani, Thotapalli Madhu, Aadukalam Naren, and Ilavarasu also had roles in Vaathi. Cinematographer J Yuvaraj and composer GV Prakash are among the film's technical crew members. The teaser implies that issues of educational equity and questionable methods will be central to the plot. It is anticipated that the trailer would be released soon after the audio launch ceremony.
