He said, "I have been contemplating what’s next for some time now. Pudhiya Paadhai is close to my heart, and I have decided to make its sequel.

"In fact, I will be playing the lead role in the sequel as well. The pre-production work is on now, and everything else is in the initial stage. The film will be based on today’s technology and innovation, " he added. It's worth remembering that the actor director a year ago, gave an interview to a media house where he disclosed that actor Simbu to play the lead in the sequel.

With his signature flair for storytelling and unconventional narratives, Parthiban is set to take viewers on a journey that is sure to be just as captivating as the original. But that's not all. In addition to the sequel, Parthiban is also working on another project that promises to be just as intriguing. In fact, I recently got to know that there is a museum at the Madras High Court with details of the Lakshmikanthan murder case, in which Bhagavathar was convicted. I’ve been visiting it to write a proper story," he spoke.
