The long held back project, Dhruva Natchathiram find its way back to the hope as the team releases a exciting and hopeful update which assures the film's release. Directed by Gautham Menon, the film stars Chiyaan Vikram in a stylish spy role which already anticipated more when the makers released a short teaser long back six years ago.

The remaining parts of the project have been announced to be in production. A poster was released to make the announcement from the makers' side. The released poster featured the actor in action avatar which has the tag "John will meet you soon". According to reports, the film will hit theatres this year's summer. Though a formal update on the same is expected to be made soon. 

The film centers on an undercover spy named John and his crew in New York are given a top-secret assignment to find and rescue their missing commander. As per the reports, Gautham Menon began the filming on the remaining chapters last month. Earlier it was opted for Suriya and Deepika Padukone back in 2013 to be the cast of the film, but months later, Suriya scrapped the project, claiming creative differences.

Due to Menon's financial limitations, production on the film was restarted in 2016 with a fresh cast and has been stuck in production ever since. Now witnessing the progress, fans are really waiting for this exquisite project to make it to the silver screens. Starring Vikram and directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, Harris Jayaraj scored the film, which marks the composer's seventh time working with director Gautham Vasudev Menon.

Manoj Paramahamsa, Jomon T. John, and Santhana Krishnan and Ravichandran shot the film, while Praveen Antony edited it. Chiyaan Vikram also has Ponniyin Selvan 2 which will release in April this year, and Thangalaan with Pa.Ranjith which is his first collaboration with the acclaimed director. Kollywood sources also claims that he will also do a part in Lokesh Kanagaraj's Leo or possibly in any of the director's film in the series.
