Siren, the upcoming film by Antony Bhagyaraj, is a crime thriller that promises to keep the audience hooked with its gripping plot and stellar performances. The film stars Jayam Ravi as an ambulance driver who is wrongly convicted of murder and spends 14 years in prison.

He gets a chance to come out on parole, he plots to take down the corrupt system and the people who ruined his life. He escapes from jail and becomes a vigilante, who is hunted by the police and the media. The film is set to release on February 9, 2024, after it was said earlier that the film might released on OTT directly.

Antony Bhagyaraj, who has written the scripts for popular films like Viswasam, Irumbu Thirai and Hero, makes his directorial debut with Siren. He is also a former associate of director Arunraja Kamaraj, bringing his unique vision to the table.  He says that the film is a result of his passion for crime stories and his admiration for Jayam Ravi’s acting skills.

Keerthy Suresh plays a determined cop who is assigned to catch him, but also questions his motives and morality, whether he is a hero or a villain. The film, written and directed by Anthony Bhagyaraj, boasts of a stellar cast that includes Anupama Parameswaran, Samuthirakani, Yogi Babu and Tulasi among others.

The film boasts an impressive crew, with music by GV Prakash Kumar, cinematography by Selva Kumar SK, and editing by Ruben. Produced by Sujatha Vijaykumar under the Home Movie Makers banner, the art direction is handled by Sakthee Venkatraj M, while Dhilip Subbarayan is in charge of the stunts.
