Trending update: After Ponniyin Selvan, Vikram is all set for the next period drama with this popular actress!

After scripting a ceaseless milestone by starring in the iconic 'Ponniyin Selvan' helmed by Mani Ratnam, Chiyaan Vikram is all set for his next round of playing in a periodic drama, and this time with popular actress Kangana Ranaut. The development of Vikram's new project has been going viral.  

Kangana Ranaut is acting in the movie 'The Incarnation- Sita', which is helmed by Alaukik Desai. The latest buzz is that Vikram has been roped to play a crucial role in the movie and his induction is yet to be officially announced by the makers. The story of the movie is penned by popular screenwriter K Vijayendra Prasad, who has written Baahubali. 

The picture of the director meeting Vikram has sparked speculation. It has been reported that Alaukik Desai recently met Vikram in Chennai and narrated the story, which the latter had accepted. The movie revolves around Lord Ram and Sita and is produced by Saloni Sharma from SS Studio. 

Director Alaukik Desai has shared that he had narrated the story and also that the star actor had liked the narration of the film's concept, giving a hint that the 'Ponniyin Selvan' actor might be part of the film. On October 1, Desai shared a picture of a meeting with Vikram on social media. He wrote, "It was very knowledge meeting you sir (Vikram). You are the most humble and energetic personality I have ever met. Very Very congratulations to PS-1, a great film." 

More information about Chiyaan Vikram's role are still unknown, and an official declaration from the production team regarding his appearance is awaited. This pan-Indian movie, which will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, was written by Vijayendra Prasad and Alaukik Desai, the writers of Baahubali and RRR. Manoj Muntashir is the author of the lyrics and dialogue.
