Mahesh Babu and Deepika Padukone are two of the nation's most bankable stars. The duo will be joining hands for SS Rajamouli's next if reports are true. The prolific Telugu filmmaker, who enjoys a huge fan base in Bollywood as well, for his previous smash hits, Bahubali film series, and RRR, this latest project in his kitty gaining a buzz as of now. 

The ace filmmaker recently spilled the beans about this movie saying 'The story of an adventurer who travels around the world'. as this film is going to be an action-adventure - is what we know so far. Although the cast and crew of the movie have not yet made any announcements, there is already a lot of talk on social media that Rajamouli will cast Samuel L. Jackson in the film, which has the working title SSMB29. 

Meanwhile, murmurings are circulating that Deepika Padukone, another versatile actor, will soon receive a call to join the cast. Deepika Padukone is not new to the South, as she made her name in Kollywood by working with Superstar Rajinikanth on Kochadaiyaan 3D back in 2014. She will also be collaborating with Shah Rukh Khan on Atlee's Jawan, which will be released as a PAN Indian film next year. 

Media reports state that Rajamouli has already begun production of his upcoming movie. In addition to this movie, Deepika has also been approached for Project K, directed by Nag Ashwin, in which she will star opposite Prabhas of the Bahubali fame. Hence, Deepika is presumably gearing up to establish herself in South Indian movies.
