The four time national award winner - two for the actor, and two for the producer, and just made the Hollywood debut. Now, the versatile actor Dhanush is on his next mission to direct a film for second time after Pa.Paandi. He is currently in works with Arun Matheeswaran for Captain Miller, which officially announced last year.

It's versed that Dhanush nailed as a actor, singer, and lyricist, and lastly the direction was proved with Raj Kiran starrer Pa. Pandi in 2017. It was earlier announced that his second directorial was back to shelf to some logistical issues. But the project once again came on to desk and the actor is kickstarted the work.  And as per the sources, the project will began after Captain Miller wrapped up.

According to reports, Vishnu Vishal is likely to play one of the leads in the film along with Dhanush, and the makers are also in talks with SJ Suryah for a crucial role. The Kollywood source close to the actor confirmed that the project is very much underway and that Vishnu Vishal has been finalised for an integral part. "However, this film will take off only after Dhanush’s Captain Miller. No other cast member except Vishnu has been finalised," the source adds.

'Captain Miller directed by Arun Matheswaran who  rose to prominence through his movies 'Rocky' and 'SaaniKaayidham', The film sets in the Madras in the 1930s-40s,and the story unfolds over 15 years of this character's life. Produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, and music to be composed by GV Prakash Kumar. The film is to be expected to be out in summer 2023.
