Indian 2 has been a long time in the making, and as Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan embarks on his mission to finish this epic sequel, fans everywhere are on the brink of bursting with anticipation. And just when we thought the anticipation couldn't get any higher, the star himself took to Instagram to give us a glimpse into his journey, sharing a picture of himself at the airport all set to jet off to Taiwan for the shooting.
He shared a picture of himself at the airport by taking us to Instagram and captioned it, “Indian in transit 2 Taiwan! #indian2”. Donning a dapper denim t-shirt Kamal Haasan looked every bit the star that he is, as he embarks on this exciting adventure. Fans all over the world will be eagerly following his journey as he brings to life the role of the freedom fighter Senapathy, which he first portrayed in the blockbuster hit back in 1996.
The team is set to be in Taiwan till April 8th to shoot some crucial scenes, before heading off to South Africa to shoot another action-packed block till April 22nd. And if that wasn't enough to get your adrenaline pumping, director Shankar has revealed that the talkie portions of the film will be completed by June followed by a song shoot.
Indian 2, produced by Lyca Productions, has a huge star cast which includes Kajal Aggarwal, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Delhi Ganesh and Bobby Simha playing pivotal characters. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music for the film. The film is expected to be one of the biggest releases of 2023. Fans are eagerly waiting to see Ulaganayagan’s return as Senapathy after 27 years. The film promises to be a thrilling and entertaining ride with a social message.
