Following a four-year hiatus, Shah Rukh Khan returns to the big screen with Pathaan. After suffering a string of personal and professional setbacks, the 57-year-old is making a triumphant return to the silver screen. Khan has had a lot of problems in the past with the press and critics. Amid the setbacks and controversies before the film's release, Shah Rukh Khan and Siddharth Anand's Pathaan surprised everyone by becoming 2023's first major box office success and fans are celebrating the success as they believe Pathan has secured Bollywood from the BoycottBollywood hashtag trend.

The film was so successful that its creators and fans got together at Mumbai's Taj Lands End hotel on Monday to celebrate. Bollywood biggies from SRK, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, and director Siddharth Anand showed up to the event in flair. As reported by the ANI, Siddharth, who delivered the keynote speech, said, "I, like every other filmmaker, always thought it would be amazing to collaborate with Shah Rukh Khan,

He added "I believe that directing a film starring Shah Rukh Khan is a gift you have to earn; indeed, it was the culmination of a long personal journey for me. The release of Pathaan has been met with widespread success. After that, how will we proceed? ".When chants of "Pathan 2" emerged from the crowd, Siddharth said, "Insha allah" (God willing).

As Shah Rukh put it, "The members of my family and I are celebrating a very special occasion today. It's been a while since we were this happy. For as long as Siddharth Anand needs me to reprise my role in Pathaan 2, I will. It would be an incredible honour to return for a second film, if one is indeed planned." As per Box office reports, Pathaan made Rs 542 crore at the international box office. Salman Khan, Ashutosh Rana, and Dimple Kapadia also play important roles in the film. Release dates for Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil versions of Pathaan were all set for January 25, 2023.

The film's budget is Rs 250 crore, and it features cinematography by Satchith Paulose, music by Vishal and Sheykhar, and editing by Aarif Sheikh. In Pathaan, the fourth film in Aditya Chopra and Yash Raj Films' Spy Universe, Salman Khan reprises his role as Tiger in an extended cameo appearance. Shah Rukh Khan's next film is Jawan, directed by Atlee, in which Deepika Padukone, Vijay Sethupay, and Vijay all play significant roles.
