Trisha, the reigning queen of South Indian cinema, is back with a bang in her upcoming film The Road, a road revenge thriller based on a real-life event that happened in the early 2000s. The film, directed by debutant Arun Vaseegaran and produced by AAA Cinemaa Pvt Ltd.
The makers of The Road have released an exclusive making teaser of the film on the occasion of Trisha’s 40th birthday, giving a glimpse of the intense and gripping story that awaits the audience. They shared the video on Thursday eve, writing, "Get ready to be mesmerized by the Movie "The Road" and we bring you an exclusive behind the look scenes! ".
The almost 2-minute long video shows Trisha playing the lead role of a woman who is on a quest for vengeance after a horrific incident on a highway. The film also features an ensemble cast of Shabeer Kallarakkal, Santhosh Prathap, Miya George, M. S. Bhaskar, Vela Ramamoorthy and others.
In addition to the impressive visuals shot by the cinematographer KG Venkatesh, the teaser trailer highlights the difficult shooting conditions and locations, and pulsating music by Sam CS. The Road is said to be a tale of blood and revenge, and it will revolve around Trisha’s character and her struggle to survive and fight against the odds.
The film will also explore the themes of justice, courage and humanity in a dark and violent world.
