The much-awaited action thriller ‘Jawan’, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, has been creating a lot of buzz with its character posters. After revealing the looks of SRK and Nayanthara, the makers have now unveiled the first poster of Vijay Sethupathi, who plays the main antagonist in the film.

The poster, which was shared by Shah Rukh Khan on his social media handles, introduces Vijay Sethupathi as ‘The Dealer of Death’. The poster shows two images of the Tamil star, one in a close-up shot wearing sunglasses and another in a full-length shot holding a gun. 

Vijay Sethupathi is known for his versatile and powerful performances in Tamil cinema, and this will be his first Hindi film. He will be seen locking horns with Shah Rukh Khan, who plays a special agent named Jawan in the film. Nayanthara plays SRK’s love interest and a fellow agent.

‘Jawan’ is written and directed by Atlee, who has previously collaborated with Vijay Sethupathi in the blockbuster ‘Mersal’. The film is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and has music by Anirudh Ravichander. The film also features Deepika Padukone in a cameo role, along with Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Sunil Grover and others in supporting roles.

‘Jawan’ is slated to release worldwide on September 7, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages. The film is said to be made with a budget of over Rs 200 crore and promises to be a high-octane action spectacle. The makers have recently released a prevue of the film, which has received a positive response from the fans and critics alike.
