The sensational song “Kaavaalaa” from the upcoming movie “Jailer” starring Superstar Rajinikanth has crossed a whopping 100 million views on YouTube, making it one of the most popular songs of the year. The makers of the movie shared the update on their official Twitter handle and thanked the fans for their overwhelming response.

Sun Pictures took to Twitter and wrote, "UNSTOPPABLE #Kaavaalaa hits magnificent 100M+ views". “Kaavaalaa” is the first single from “Jailer”, a high-octane action thriller directed by Nelson and produced by Sun Pictures.

The song is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, who has teamed up with Rajinikanth after the blockbuster Darbar and Petta. The song is sung by Shilpa Rao and Anirudh Ravichander, and has lyrics by Arunraja Kamaraj.

Beautifully choreographed against an elaborate set, the song exudes elements of tribal cultural aesthetics. The song also features an irresistibly catchy beat section, enhancing the overall enjoyment and lively atmosphere of the musical piece, and featured Rajinikanth in a sweet surprise cameo, as he plays a jailer in the movie who fights against corruption and injustice. The song also has a rap portion by Anirudh Ravichander, which adds to the energy and excitement of the song.

‘Jailer’ is an action drama, which marks the first collaboration between Rajinikanth and Nelson. The movie also stars Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, Tiger Shroff, Sunil, Ramya Krishnan, and Yogi Babu in important roles. The movie is produced by Sun Pictures, and is coming to theatres on 10th August 2023.
