Megastar Kamal Haasan, whose last film appearance was in the blockbuster "Vikram," released in 2022. For his 234th film appearance, the legendary actor will colloborate with the veteran director Mani Ratnam. The film, which has been given the working title KH 234, is scheduled to begin production in the second half of 2023.
Recently many speculating reports have surfaced that he may appear in a film alongside Mohanlal, a well-known actor from Malayalam. Pertinent to note that in 2009 for "Unnai Pol Oruvan," Mohanlal and Kamal Haasan collaborated together. Ulaganayagan also contributed to the remake of the Mohanlal-starring film Drishyam, and Kamal Haasan also mentioned that its a huge challenge when going on to act in "Papanasam" as the original version was performed by Mohanlal.
Now, the reports have it that for the film titled "Malaikottai Valiban," which will be directed by director Lijo Jose, the crew of the film is in talks with Kamal Hassan to play an important role in the film. Film industry insiders have revealed that the film's pre-production work is currently underway, and that the first day of principal photography is scheduled for the following month.
Kamal has brought several films of note to the classics of Malayalam cinema, including Unniyyil Let's Tell a Story, Swapnakood, Rappakal, Gramophone, and Azhakiya Ravana, and few others. Also, Kamal Haasan's first breakthrough role was in a Mollywood. The film "Kanyakumari," which was released in 1974, brought him a lot of attention.
